Director, Retail Media
Job Description
HelloFresh is seeking an experienced Director of Performance Partnerships to establish and build the foundation for our Retail Media division. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing and monetizing physical and digital advertising space for HelloFresh Group. You will craft the roadmap and execute strategies focusing on driving revenue growth. You will…
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Retail Media Strategy (RMN) tailored to HelloFresh Group's business objectives and OKRs for North America and four brands. You will work closely with the Global leader for Retail Media.
• Shape current and future best practices with emerging Retail Media opportunities. Scale existing products and identify new opportunities.
• Build a pipeline of enterprise prospects and develop self-service options to scale the program. You will also own key relationships with our largest clients/partners.
• Coach, develop, manage, and lead a team of 4+ sales and partnerships FTEs.
• Create a framework for performance reviews, including global reporting and regular business reviews.
• Take the lead in establishing the necessary infrastructure and processes to initiate and grow RMN for online and offline channels, including:
• Implementation of Online Ads Monetization within RMN by streamlining collaboration between Tech, Brand, Legal, and Ad Solution Partners.
• Collaborate closely with Distribution Centers (DC) to enhance the operational efficiency of RMN advertising campaigns.
• Work in tandem with the Product & Brand Team to support the expansion of RMN offline ad product bandwidth and the diversification of in-box placements in our portfolio.
• Implement global advanced tracking and reporting systems to measure real-time campaign performance for advertisers, providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing RMN campaign segmentation and targeting, ultimately improving outcomes and results for our advertisers.

• A leader capable of effectively managing a variety of projects from initial concept and planning to execution and delivery, including setting project goals, establishing timelines, managing resources, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Skilled in written and oral communication with strong business writing abilities. Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
You have...
• 10+ years of experience managing sales and partnerships in advertising and/or marketing.
• 5+ years of team management and leadership experience.
• 3+ years of senior-level experience in building and developing high-performing Retail Media Networks or Ad Sales divisions within leading e-commerce brands.
• Experience in eCommerce and/or subscription business models (preferred).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and Microsoft Excel.
• Extensive knowledge of the evolving digital advertising landscape, including data/privacy regulations, technology advancements, and AdTech platform changes and optimization tactics.
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a strong academic record.

New York Pay Range
$130,000—$220,000 USD
