The Opportunity

The Senior Director will drive PUIG digital acceleration strategy and execution across full funnel for all brands. A key focus on E-commerce through retail partners and newly launched Direct to Consumer (DTC) sites along with media and in-house PR and Influencer model. The Senior Director will spearhead robust commercial plans, investment strategies, growth initiatives, online traffic and new customer acquisition that deliver monthly and annual goals. Brand and consumer centric in development and execution within a matrixed organization.

What you'll get to do

Digital Responsibilities:

• Oversee strategic and financial plans for E-retail and DTC channels to drive traffic, customer acquisition, and achieve monthly/annual sales goals

• Lead digital business reviews, sales reporting, and KPI tracking to address performance gaps

• Cultivate relationships with retailers and internal teams to foster growth opportunities and coordinate digital strategies

• Collaborate with Key Account Directors (KADs) on omni-channel and retail-specific online strategies

• Partner with departments (Marketing, IT, Finance) to develop DTC frameworks, manage CRM, loyalty, SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, and media campaigns

• Develop strategies to boost traffic, conversion, revenue, and profitability using analytics

• Generate weekly/monthly business reports and monitor DTC/E-commerce consumer trends

Communication Responsibilities:

• Create omnichannel plans across Paid, Earned, and Owned media to increase engagement, sales, and brand share

• Manage media agency for digital/social growth, balancing national and retailer campaigns

• Track trends, optimize performance, and oversee advertising budgets

• Collaborate with PR and influencer teams to develop earned media and influencer strategies

• Drive brand awareness and consumer conversations in the U.S. market

• Oversee digital media campaigns, including brand/non-brand search and feed-based dynamic channels

• Analyze post-campaign results to gauge digital media performance against goals (ROI, KPIs)

• Handle financial planning and budget management for multi-media platforms

• Share best practices globally and engage with the media manager community

• Lead content strategy, coordinating with Global Brands on locally relevant content aligned with marketing goals

We'd love to meet you if you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other (preferred)

• 12+ years’ experience in an operational e-commerce role and consumer marketing role

• Experience owning Advertising and Promotional (A&P) investment and Product and Loss (P&L) management

• Expert knowledge and skill with data management, consumer analytics, and projection and forecasting skills

• Highly collaborative across different stakeholders in a matrixed environment

• Experience within beauty and/or fragrance is required

• Experience leading a multi-department team with 10+ members

• Strong written and verbal communications

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities (ie. Brands, campaigns, retailers, cross functional teams)

• Self-motivate, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker

• Highly detailed oriented with excellent time management skills

• Inquisitive and enthusiastic about digital and marketing

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel

• Ability to work in-office three days a week and travel for PR events domestically and international

Compensation Data

As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $200,000.00 - $220,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
